RW Smith Welcomes Janet Matusiak and Maureen Rita to the Team

RW Smith is pleased to announce two new brokers have joined our team.

Janet Matusiak began her career over 30 years ago at First Chicago Bank where she worked in the Underwriting department and learned the Muni business. In 1980 she moved to Van Kampen Merritt, acting as Head Underwriter for 10 years. She then moved into Trading at MB Vic/David A. Noyes where she remained until 2005, when she decided to join the brokerage side of the business at Wolfe & Hurst. In her new role here at RW Smith, Ms. Matusiak will be focusing primarily on zeros.

Maureen Rita started at Shearson American Express almost 30 years ago as a Trading Assistant. A few years later she took a position at Blunt Ellis, a company which changed names many times over the years, most recently operating as Wachovia. She wore many hats during that time, including training new investment consultants and acting as a liaison for retail traders. In 2005 she joined Commerce Bank where she did Underwriting as well as Trading. Ms. Rita is joining RW Smith with a focus on Bank Qualified Bonds.
