SHELLEY CLUTTER
25 years fixed income experience
Ms. Clutter joined RW Smith in 1985. Ms. Clutter brings over 24
years of fixed income operation and systems experience to her position of Chief
Information Officer of RW Smith Ms. Clutter is charged with
overseeing the company’s technology strategy to ensure RW Smith’s technology assets
are maximized and applied in sound and innovative ways to help drive greater business
value for clients. Ms. Clutter will also continue to support RW Smith’s research
and innovation process across all areas of the business.
Ms. Clutter has held a wide range of senior positions during her 22-year career
with RW Smith. Most recently, she played a significant role in designing, testing
and implementing the back office support and reporting system. As well, she managed
an essential and seamless conversion project that took the company from a 22-year
history of clearing on an omnibus basis to a fully disclosed outsourced comparisons
and clearing arrangement.
Prior to joining RW Smith in 1985, Ms. Clutter began her career in the investment
industry at Seattle-First National Bank Trust Department.
KATHY JOHNSON

NSCC Specialist / Purchase & Sales
Ms. Johnson joined RW Smith in 1985 and was previously the Manager of Trust Operations at Seattle First National Bank in Seattle, Washington. Ms. Johnson handles all buy-side comparisons, both NSCC and “X”-Clearing. She is known throughout the municipal operational industry for her extensive background in transactional conflict resolution and her willingness to assist our customer base with their internal processes.
